An RCB fan, known by the name of Deepika Ghose had gone to watch a game of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRF) captured internet’s attention and became an overnight star.

RCB concluded with their IPL season by declaring themselves a champion, defeating SRH at their last match just recently. It was none other than Virat Kohli and his team who secured the massive win, although the offline and online media had eyes on someone else at the match.

Deepika, who calls herself an RCB fan through her Instagram bio, watched the game at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru and grabbed everyone’s attention at the very match.

If you’ve browsed through the online memes on various social media platforms, you’d see a girl in a red off-shoulder crop top enjoying the match and cheering on from the stands, when the cameras at the stadium turned towards her and since then her video has gone viral.

The girl’s Instagram account was also made public and her fan following has since crossed 270k overnight!

Just recently, she posted a boomerang video of her at the match on her feed with the caption – #RCB girl forever.

Since then, a number of fake accounts have come up with her name, prompting the girl to post a clarification about her official social media handle. She later added to the very platform, “Please do not follow or accept any other accounts with my name on Instagram.”

Deepika is now a legit meme template, inspiring several memes all over social media and is the talk of the nation.
