235/9 against Sunrisers Hyderabad (2021)

MI struck 235/9 in their allotted 20 overs against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Abu Dhabi, and thus, posted the highest total of the 2021 Indian Premier League (IPL) season. After winning the toss, MI’s captain, Rohit Sharma, decided to bat first. The teamI needed to win by more than 170 runs to advance to the playoffs. Ishan Kishan delivered a quickfire knock to lay the groundwork for a significant total. In the end, the team’s highest score in the IPL 2021 season was achieved by MI thanks to Kishan’s 84 runs off 32 balls and Suryakumar’s 82 runs off 40 balls.

223/6 against Punjab Kings (2017)

MI’s 2nd highest score in IPL was realised against the Punjab Kings. When MI was chasing a massive 231 against Glenn Maxwell’s team in 2017, they scored 223/6 against Punjab Kings, which was their 2nd-highest total ever. However, MI was unsuccessful and lost by 7 runs. Kieron Pollard and Lendl Simmons both scored half-centuries in the chase, but it wasn’t enough. The 2017 IPL championship was won by MI.

219/6 against Chennai Super Kings (2021)

At the Arun Jaitley Stadium against Chennai Super Kings, MI recorded their 3rd-highest total in IPL history. Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock gave Mumbai a start of 71 in 7.4 overs while chasing 218 runs. After that, Pollard was the only player, scoring an undefeated 87 off 34 deliveries. He hit six fours and eight sixes during his inning,  with a little assistance from Krunal and Hardik Pandya, which helped MI chase a mammoth total of 218.

218/7 against Delhi Capitals (2010)

MI reached 218/7, their fourth-highest total in the IPL, thanks to Sachin’s outstanding performance. In a match against Delhi Capitals on March 17, 2010, Sachin dominated the Arun Jaitley Stadium with a 32-ball 63 that set the stage for an incredible score. Delhi’s collapse for just 120 in the 17th over while chasing a huge mark gave MI a commanding 98-run victory.

213/6 against Royal Challengers Bangalore (2018)

MI stopped their three-match losing streak in the IPL 2018 against Royal Challengers Bangalore when they defeated them to record their first victory of the campaign thanks to Rohit Sharma’s 94 off 52. When given the opportunity to bat first, MI put up a staggering 213/6 score. Virat Kohli did manage to smash 92* off 62 balls, but they fell 46 runs short because they received no help from the other end.

212/6 against Rajasthan Royals (2010)

Yusuf Pathan’s 100 from just 37 balls helped RR, who was chasing a massive total of 213, get closer to the goal. The 18th over saw the right-handed batter getting out. RR would have achieved the target if he had stayed a little longer

212/3 against Delhi Capitals (2017)

In the league match against Delhi Capitals, Trinidadians Pollard (63* off 35) and Simmons (66 off 43) shone for MI and helped them achieve a massive score of 212/3. Delhi only scored a total of 66 in response, falling short by 146 runs.

210/6 against Kolkata Knight Riders (2018)

MI surpassed the 200-run threshold and posted a staggering total of 210/6 against Kolkata Knight Riders. Ishan Kishan was MI’s lone half-centurion, scoring 62 off 21 balls. KKR was defeated by a lopsided score of 102 runs, as they were bowled out for 108 runs with six players of KKR failing to reach double digits.

209/5 against Delhi Capitals (2013)

Next on the list of MI Highest scores in IPL is against Delhi Capitals. MI defeated DC by a score of 44 runs in their matchup at home. When MI batted first, they fought back from early setbacks to score a sizable total of 209/5, thanks to Dinesh Karthik‘s 84 and Rohit Sharma’s 74*. In response, DC had a disastrous start, and 7 batters scored below 10 runs. Eventually, they only managed to score 165 runs.

209/7 against Royal Challengers Bangalore (2015)

MI was able to end their four-match losing streak against Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2015 as well. When MI was asked to bat first, they quickly put up an impressive total of 209/7. In his four overs of bowling, Harbhajan Singh, who won Player of the Match, took three wickets for 27 runs.
