The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 is staged to hit the floor from 17th October to 14th November, 2021 in the United Arab Emirates and Oman. It will be the 7th edition of the prestigious ICC Men’s T20 World Cup tournament, which commenced back in 2007.  The Indian cricket team was crowned as the champion of the inaugural edition of the T20 World Cup that was scheduled in South Africa. At present, West Indies is the defending champions of the competition and has emerged as the champion twice back in 2012 and 2016.

The current edition of the T20 World Cup was scheduled to be held in India in 2020 but got postponed due to the Covid pandemic. Later on, in June 2020, the highest cricket governing body decided to transfer the venue of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 Schedule to UAE and Oman. The twenty-nine days T20 World Cup 2021 Schedule window will witness 16 participating nations and a total of 45 matches in the entire tournament.

T20 World Cup Points Table

The 2021 Men’s T20 World Cup will comprise a total of 16 international cricket teams. In the first phase of the tournament, 8 teams will compete against each other to get a place in the Super 12. These 8 teams are divided into two groups and the top two of the team of each group will join the prominent 8th team in the Super 12. These 8 teams have already qualified for the knockout stage.

In the Super 12, there are 12 teams that will be divided into two groups, namely Group 1 and Group 2. Each group will comprise of six teams. The first match of the Super 12 of the Men’s T20 World Cup schedule will be held on 23rd October between Australia and South Africa. In the knockout stage of the semifinal, there will be four teams from the both T20 World Cup point table.

The top two teams with maximum points from each group will play the ICC T20 World Cup scheduled semi-final. The semi-final of the ICC T20 World Cup is scheduled for 10 and 11 November, 2021. Following, the winner of the two semi-final matches will play in the grand final of the ICC T20 World Cup. The final of the T20 World Cup schedule is staged on 14 November 2021 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai. In the end, the winner of the grand final will become the ultimate champion of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

The 7th edition of the ICC T20 World Cup is scheduled to be held among 16 international cricket teams. Among them, eight teams have already qualified for the knockout stage and they will compete with each other to get into Super 12.  Here is the list of the 8 teams which have already qualified for the Super 12 of the ICC T20 World Cup schedule:
