The spin-bowling all-rounder, Cornwall made his debut in First-Class cricket against Jamaica on 05 Dec, 2014 at 20 years of age and in domestic T20 cricket against Trinidad & Tobago on 13 Jan, 2011.
His abundant talent and consistent performance turned heads when, in 2016, he gave an all-round performance by scoring 41 runs and claiming 5 wickets against India while playing for the West Indies Cricket Board President's XI.
Although he continued to give mesmerising performances, Cornwall became a contender for international cricket when he scored 252 runs in the 2017 Regional Super50 at an average of 50 and a strike rate of nearly 120. He even scalped ten wickets at an economy rate of 3.63.
The stellar gameplay continued for two more years as he played for Leeward Islands as an allrounder, earning him a place in West Indies A. He claimed 23 wickets at an average of 19 in Sri Lanka.
