Back in 2015, Muttiah Muralitharan was the bowling coach apart from being the mentor of the team. He has been seen opening with Warner and has been successful in smashing the much-needed boundaries and sixes for the Sunrisers Hyderabad. He is a deadly player and is a nightmare for many bowlers. The English batsman knows how to tackle difficult situations and is a hard hitter at the right teams. His inclusion in the Sunrisers Hyderabad team made the team much stronger and more stable.

Rashid Khan

The Afghan leg-spinner has already impressed millions of people from all over the world with his magic. In the past years, Rashid Khan has been instrumental in taking wickets at crucial moments for Sunrisers Hyderabad, including the previous year for Sunrisers Hyderabad squad 2020. Having a talented spinner like him is a dream pick for any team coach and the captain, and the Sunrisers Hyderabad team is surely going to benefit even more from the star Afghan player. The pandemic and the lack of practice made him struggle a bit in Sunrisers Hyderabad IPL 2020, but the indispensable team player jumped back to his previous form in just a few matches. Hyderabad Deccan Chargers

Because Sunrisers Hyderabad came to the scene, Deccan Chargers was the team for which the locals cheered for. The team had a good run in the League before the Sunrisers Hyderabad owner bought the Hyderabad team.

Deccan Chargers was one of the eight founding teams of the infamous Indian Premier League back in 2008.  Under the captaincy of Adam Gilchrist, the team even managed to win the 2nd season of the IPL, which back then had taken the country's cricket fraternity by storm. The owner of the franchise was Deccan Chronicle Holdings Limited and if you didn’t know, the team shared the same home stadium as the Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Before the Sunrisers Hyderabad team, Deccan Chargers got the love of the local residents. With eminent players in the team and being the champions right in the second season, the Chargers, under the guidance of their coach Darren Lehmann, succeeded in gathering the support of the hometowners.

The team once boasted of players like Adam Gilchrist, Andrew Symonds, Shahid Afridi, Gibbs, and many more. Legends like Cameron and Sangakkara were also part of the team, with the former leading the Deccan Chargers in the fourth season of the IPL.
