We live in a country where we might be divided in terms of caste, religion, professions, etc. but Cricket has always been the reason that has brought us all together!

With the youth coming in as active participants on fantasy cricket, the platform has begun to give birth to many ‘Gaming Superstars’. This week on BalleBaazi Success Stories we are featuring one such Rising Star of the Fantasy gaming industry- Chandrashekhar Shivhar Kautkar from the beautiful city of Aurangabad, Maharashtra!

Chandrashekhar happens to be a final year engineering student in the Electrical branch pursuing his studies from Aurangabad itself. He is our Mega League Winner of the 1st ODI between New Zealand and Bangladesh.

Here are a few excerpts from his interview with us:

Q:  Total Cash Added- ₹76 & you won ₹18,000 cash prize. How’s the feeling!?

A: Honestly, I still can’t believe it happened to me. I feel really speechless and blessed at the same time. The thought of becoming the Mega League Winner never crossed my mind. Thanks to BalleBaazi for providing me with the opportunity.

Q: How did you get to know about the BalleBaazi App?

A: I was watching a YouTube video where I happened to see one of your promotions, that’s how I came to know about your application. The features & presentation looked quite interesting to me so I went ahead with it & since then I started participating in at least one league daily on BalleBaazi.

Q: Why did you choose Trent Boult as Captain & Martin Guptill as Vice Captain in your Playing 11?

A: What came through my mind was the fact that Bangladesh has an overall weak batting line up when it comes to Trent Boult, who on the other hand has a great record & is in great form currently. Also, before the match during the analysis time(match preview on YouTube), I ran an entire scenario in my head where Bangladesh would bat first and score a low total & then Martin Guptill, being the opener will help the Kiwis chase the target very smoothly, which eventually happened. Hence, the choices.

Q: According to you, what is more important in fantasy- knowledge or luck?

A: Knowledge, of course because in my case if you look at the playing 11 of the team ranked 2nd, the Captain of the team was Henry Nicholls which according to me was an irrelevant choice made purely on chance basis which eventually gave me the edge because through Trent Boult I earned myself 78 fantasy points that made all the difference!

Q: What’s your favorite feature in the BalleBaazi App?

A: The Bowling Leagues & The Batting Leagues featured in the App are something that makes it very different from all other fantasy cricket platforms. These leagues are my favorite since I personally have seen better success ratio here. Very often I’ve emerged as a winner in them so these are my personal favorites.

Chandrashekhar’s Playing 11:

Total Fantasy Points: 424.25

After this interview, only one thought came to my mind- “What can an Engineer possibly not do?!” On this note, we wish luck to all our aspiring doctors, engineers, artists & sports lovers as the upcoming Cricket Season is all set to greet you with exciting offers from BalleBaazi.
