New Zealand

No offence, but New Zealand have been the official heart-breakers in the World Cup semi-final two times in a row now. They come up with an all-round show to turn things in their favour, out of the ‘blue’. But they faltered at the 2015 World Cup final and Kane’s Men would want to make the most of this second opportunity for their country. Now all we can say is, hold your nerves, boys. 

England 

They started like that they are going to conquer it quite easily, but then World Cup wouldn’t have been as interesting as it was. The consecutive losses. The criticism from legends. Oh, it added to the pressure on Morgan and his men. Then they found their Ray (read Roy) of hope. Be that as it may, but now that England have made it through it all, one thing that we can say is hope that you don’t have to wait for another 4 years. 

The Scenario as of now

The game so far has been in England’s favour with Williamson(30) getting caught behind and Taylor, unfortunately, getting out at a bowl missing his stumps yet called lbw. It’s 192-5 with a 55 from Henry Nicholls and it’s still the 43rd over. The pitch does have some grass so 250+ would be competitive & Trent Boult will have a task at hand.

In conclusion, let’s just say that both teams are survivors. The World Cup has been all kinds of crazy for them. They topped the tables, and at times found their chances to be really slim. Will New Zealand stay put? Will England finally bring it home? While fans from the country that supports the game more than any other, might not be as excited as they would have been, it will still be a very thrilling game to watch.
