The Rose Bowl Cricket Stadium was back to life, colors, up and running as the Great British battle began with England v/s Ireland going on floors in the English summer during the COVID-19 crisis. Fantasy Cricket tips and tricks were in place before the battle went live and fantasy cricket enthusiasts were happy as ever to get back into the groove to win real cash online. The 1st England v/s Ireland ODI went smoothly in the new COVID affected format and this is how the match proceeded:

Early Wickets Rattle The Irish

An Irish Captain for the English team against his own naive men was an interesting match on its own. Ireland lost early wickets and never really looked settled in. David Willey & Mahmood got a few early breakthroughs including Adil Rashid who got the vital wicket of Kevin O’ Brian caught by David Willey at deep extra cover. Ireland was struggling and looking for a partnership.

Campher & McBrine Bring Some Momentum

Campher (59*) and McBrine(40) got some hope for the Irish unit as they played with confidence and grit. Curtis Campher scored 59* in 118 balls hitting 4 boundaries. While McBrine was a tad bit aggressive in his approach, hitting a six and 3 boundaries for his 40 in 48 balls. Although the partnership couldn’t go on for long as they put on 76 runs together before McBrine got dismissed by Tom Curran.

Willey Stars as He Picks First Fifer

David Willey was seen in full flow as he was successful in picking up the edges of the Irish batsmen, dismissing 5 of the opposition batsmen for the very first time in his ODI career. He got Stirling, Balbirnie, Delany, Tucker, and tale ender Craig Young to wrap up the Irish innings at 172 all out. Willey picked his fifer for the very first time including an assisting performance from his fellow bowlers Mahmood, Rashid, Tom Curran & an economical Moeen Ali.

Ireland gives England Early Hiccups

England began their chase for 172 in an attacking manner with Jason Roy beginning in his trademark fashion. After McBrine dismissed Bairstow early on Vince & Roy continued the onslaught unless they both got scalped by Craig Young. Suddenly England lost 4 wickets under 100 runs and all was left to Sam Billings and Captain Eoin Morgan.

Billings Scores Quick 67 to Close The Game

Sam Billings scored in quick fashion along with Captain Morgan, who was in great six-hitting touch. They both partnered up and put on an unbeaten 96 run partnership. Billings scored 11 boundaries for his 67 off just 54 balls while Morgan hit 2 huge sixes and 4 boundaries to hit the winnings runs and close the match with an individual score of 36* in 40 balls.

Fantasy cricket is back with a bang in colors as England has beaten Ireland in the first ODI giving a good start to the World Cup Super Series format.
